Awareness Seminar on World Cancer Day (Feb-2023)

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on 4 February to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment.

The wings of Desire (NGO) in collaboration with the Department of Radiotherapy and Clinical Oncology, Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College AMU, performed a skit in The Blossoms School which is followed by a cancer awareness lecture by the Chairman, Department of Radiotherapy and Clinical Oncology, Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College AMU on “Fight Against Cancer”.
The Wings of Desire has also conducted an Inter School Poster making and Story Writing Competition. where students of Class VI to Class IX have taken part in the said competitions.
Sinan Ashaz has got a Certificate of Excellence and was awarded the 2nd Prize in Story Writing Competition.
